Human of Basic Income event, Thurs., Oct. 11, at Queen's University

Ms Golem has photographed participants in the basic income research project, each holding a hand-written sign describing what positive changes having a basic income made in their lives -- such as pursuing education or better jobs, eating healthy or improving their housing. 

****At 5 pm on Oct. 11, there will be an opening reception for an exhibition of Ms. Golem's photographs, in room B176, Mac-Corry Hall, 68 University Ave., Queen's University.  The exhibit runs from Oct. 3 to Nov. 2, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm, in B176, Mac-Corry Hall.

At the Ontario and national levels, the National Farmers Union has endorsed the basic income guarantee as a way to improve income security for low income individuals and families.
